Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse in Greenfield, MA for a 13-week assignment. The role requires RN licensure, 3 years of acute care, and travel flexibility.

Expect nights on a 12-hour shift with 36 hours per week and competitive travel pay. The L&D RN will support mothers before, during, and after delivery, assist with epidurals and cesarean prep when needed, monitor labor progress, monitor contractions, and provide immediate newborn care.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN certifications required; additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Assist physicians with epidurals or pain management and delivery prep.
• Monitor contractions and assist patient with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix progression and monitor fetal status.
• Provide immediate newborn care and post-delivery duties.
