Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel Labor and Delivery nurse (RN) for a 14-week assignment in Hyannis, MA. The role is 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts.

Immediate openings require at least 3 years of acute care experience and current ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications, with additional certifications potentially required. Travel RN duties include supporting mothers before, during, and after delivery, assisting physicians, monitoring labor progression, newborn care, and ensuring patient safety

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications required; additional certifications may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Assist physicians during epidurals, cesarean delivery preparation, and pain management.
• Provide immediate care to the newborn.
