Job summary
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Travel RN for Labor & Delivery in Clearlake, CA. Night shifts are 3x12 hours, 36 hours per week, with ASAP start and a 13-week assignment.
The role requires a CA RN license, BLS, 3–4 years L&D experience, and EPIC proficiency. Additional certifications such as Fetal Monitoring, NRP, and AWHONN are preferred. Lodging and benefits are included where applicable.
Qualifications
- Current CA RN license required.
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- 3-4 years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
- Strong labor experience with comfort in postpartum care required.
- Newborn stabilization skills required, STABLE certification strongly recommended.
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required within 6 months of employment, renewed every 2 years.
- NRP certification required within 6 months of employment, renewed every 2 years.
- ACLs certification preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Basic computer skills required.
- No prior hits on license will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate patient care across disciplines.
- Part of the Adventist Health network.
- Provide Labor & Delivery care and postpartum support.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for patient records.
