Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Travel RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Kennewick, WA. You will provide obstetric nursing care during labor, delivery and the immediate postpartum period, with shifts of 12 hours at night and 36 hours per week.

Requirements include 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, WA RN license, and current BLS; NRP certification is also required. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered to travelers.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Valid RN license in the state of Washington.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric nursing care during labor, delivery and postpartum.
• Administer medications and treatments per obstetric nursing protocols.
• Assist with cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond to emergencies per protocol.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care.
