Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Tacoma, WA. You will provide patient care in obstetrics, monitor fetal status, and collaborate with obstetric teams to ensure safe labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

The role requires 1+ year of L&D experience, WA RN license, and current BLS/NRP certifications. Travel assignments include competitive pay, benefits, and clinical support from a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year recent Labor & Delivery RN experience.
• Active RN license in WA per state regulations.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and assist with obstetric procedures.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during labor and delivery.
• Provide immediate postpartum care and newborn assessment.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and newborn care.
• Document care and interventions in the medical record.
