Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role requires 2+ years in L&D, certification in BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and potentially NRP. The schedule is 3 twelve-hour night shifts with weekend commitments on a high-acuity obstetric unit.

The position offers travel compensation, housing/housing options, and comprehensive benefits through ARMStaffing. Local and travel contracts are available across the U.S.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery; 3 years preferred.
Experience with >300 births per month is mandatory.
Certifications: BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP; C-EFM accepted in lieu of AWHONN.
Must be open to floating within the women's unit as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to obstetrical patients, including high-risk antepartum and postpartum care.
Perform sterile vaginal exams and immediate newborn care.
Manage double labor assignments efficiently and apply critical thinking in high-pressure situations.
Participate in scheduled and unscheduled cesarean births and rescue cervical cerclage procedures.
Utilize Pyxis and EPIC systems for documentation and medication management.
