Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a skilled Labor and Delivery RN for a 13‑week travel assignment in Honesdale, PA. You’ll provide obstetric patient care, monitor maternal and fetal conditions, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe delivery and postpartum support.

The role requires a valid RN license, BLS, NRP, and recent L&D experience. Travel benefits, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits are included with this assignment.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN is required.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) is required.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing techniques.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during labor and delivery.
• Provide immediate postpartum care including assessment and stabilization of mother and newborn.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and team members to deliver cohesive care.
• Document care, assessments, and interventions in the medical record.
