Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Farmington, Connecticut. The role is a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week, night shift, and travel benefits.

Active RN license and BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS/AWHONN certifications are required, along with 18 months of recent L&D acute care experience. Private housing or housing allowance, and competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS/AWHONN certifications preferred.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care L&D setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for women before, during, and after delivery across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages.
• Monitor and document maternal and fetal vital signs during labor and delivery.
• Identify and respond to potential high-risk conditions promptly and appropriately.
• Educate and support mothers and families throughout the childbirth process.
