Job summary
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in Connecticut. Requires high-risk L&D expertise, CT or Compact license, and prior travel nursing experience.
Role includes 12-hour nights, 36 hours/week, every third weekend, and potential locality-based rates. Responsibilities include direct patient care across labor, delivery, antepartum, and postpartum units; exposure to Epic EMR and Pyxis; scrubs provided; overtime rotation may occur to
Qualifications
- Active RN license (CT or Compact) required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-risk Labor & Delivery.
- Prior OB experience required and prior travel nursing experience.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across labor, delivery, antepartum, and postpartum units.
- Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week.
- Every third weekend required.
- May float within 30 miles of the assigned facility.
- Unit uses Epic EMR and Pyxis medication system.
