Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel RN in Ames, IA for Labor and Delivery. You will provide care before, during and after delivery, monitor mother and newborn, and educate families. This assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts.

Requires active RN license, degree from accredited nursing program, BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS and AWHONN certs, plus 18 months recent L&D experience in acute care. Travel credentialing and housing options are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN License required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• CPR/BLS and obstetric-specific certifications (ACLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN) required.
• 18+ months of recent experience in Acute Care L&D.
• Other client-specific requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to mothers and newborns before, during, and after delivery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond to high-risk conditions.
• Educate and support families throughout the birthing process.
