Requirements include an active RN license, degree from an accredited program, BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications, and 18 months of acute care L&D experience. Travel reimbursement and credentialing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN License is required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program is required.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN Certifications are required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility.

Responsibilities

• Care for women and newborns across antepartum to neonatal stages.
• Monitor vital signs of mother and baby during birth.
• Monitor for potential high-risk problems.
• Educate and support families after birth.
