TotalMed RN is seeking a Travel Nurse RN in Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Pella, IA. The position runs for 13 weeks at 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts and ASAP start.

Ideal candidates have 3 years of recent acute care RN experience and current BLS, NRP, STABLE, and ACLS certifications. As a Travel L&D RN, you will support mothers through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care, assist physicians during procedures, monitor fetal and maternal status, and ensure

• 3 years of acute care RN experience required.
• BLS, NRP, STABLE, ACLS and additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Assess cervix progression and dilation.
• Maintain clean, dry beds and manage bodily fluids.
• Assist physician with delivery instruments and setup.
• Provide immediate newborn care.
