American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a nights shift in Bismarck, ND. The role covers L&D patient care, postpartum and newborn care, and potential NICU float as needed. Candidates must have 3+ years in L&D/Postpartum/Gyn and hold an ND or Compact RN license, with BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications.

Night shifts and 12-hour blocks apply. Hospital-based assignment includes 36 hours per week, 13 weeks duration, with 1:1 to 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios and weekend/holiday

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 3+ years of L&D experience and a ND or compact RN license.

Details

• Acute care Labor & Delivery unit with 19 beds
• Care for L&D patients including high-risk deliveries, postpartum mom and baby, and gyn surgical postop patients
• Nurse to patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 for L&D, 1:3 for mom/baby couplets, and 1:4 for gyn patients (combined ratios of 1:5-6)
• Utilizes fetal monitors, suction, oxygen, and vital signs monitors
• OBIX documentation and centralized monitoring used for L&D, EPIC used for gyn charting
• 12-hour night shifts with occasional day shifts required
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• Floating to newborn nursery and NICU required as needed

Requirements
