Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery for a 13-week travel assignment in Bozeman, MT. The role circulates during labor, may float to Mother Baby, and provides patient- and family-centered care in a high-acuity obstetric unit.

Start 09/28/2026; 36 hours per week; rotating shifts; travel support available. Required: MT RN license, BLS, NRP provider, FHM recertifications; ACLS optional for Lactation RN; prior L&D experience preferred.

Qualifications

• > Montana Licensure (RN) active
• "> BLS certification required
• "> NRP Provider certification with recert every 2 years
• "> FHM certification (recert every 2 years)
• "> ECG/EFM-related certification (not required if Lactation RN)
• "> ACLS certification (not required if Lactation RN)
• "> Prefer 1 year of labor and delivery experience
• "> Lactation RN: CLC or IBCLC certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Circulate during labor and delivery and may float to Mother Baby and care for newborns as needed
• Plan and implement patient and family education on labor, delivery, newborn care, and lactation support
• Assess patient needs, develop an individualized care plan, and implement interventions
• Monitor fetal status and respond to obstetric emergencies in collaboration with the health care team
• Document care, evaluate outcomes, participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice, provide leadership
• Maintain ethical standards, collaborate with patients and families, and adapt to a busy clinical setting
• On-call duties may be required
