Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare in Anaconda, MT is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Labor and Delivery travel assignment. Start date 10/12/2026 for 13 weeks. 36 hours per week. Shift: night with on-call; may include day coverage. Hospital-based travel assignment.

Requires Montana RN license (or compact), BLS/ACLS/NRP and AWHONN certs, and minimum 2 years OB/L&D experience. 24/7 recruiter and travel support, fast credentialing, and nationwide assignments provided.

Qualifications

Montana RN license or compact license required.
BLS, ACLS, NRP and AWHONN certifications required.
Minimum 2 years OB/L&D and postpartum care experience.
Ability to work night shifts with on-call and occasional day coverage.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive L&D/OB nursing care across labor, delivery, and postpartum units.
Monitor fetal status and maternal condition; perform ongoing assessments and document changes.
Support laboring patients through all stages of labor; administer medications and pain relief as ordered.
Assist with deliveries, including vaginal and cesarean births, in collaboration with the OB/GYN team.
Manage postpartum care, discharge planning, and patient education for new families.
Respond to obstetric emergencies per protocol and coordinate with multidisciplinary team members.
