Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a Travel RN - Labor and Delivery for Smyrna, TN. The role is night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), 12 hours per day, 3 days per week, for 13 weeks.

Responsibility includes circulating in OR, fetal monitoring, MgSO4 administration, and OB care. Requires RN license with ACLS/BLS/NRP; STABLE and spinning babies are pluses. Onsite contract with per-week stipends.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required or in-process.
• Fetal monitoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in OR and assist with OB procedures.
• Monitor fetal status and administer treatments as directed.
• Support vaginal birth promotion and patient-centered care.
• Handle MgSO4 administration and obstetric emergencies as needed.

Number of Beds : 9 L&D, 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs & 3 bed OBED
Patient Ratios : 1-2
Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Unit Secretary and scrub tech, dedicated CRNA & midwife in-house 24/7, OBGYN on call
Type of equipment :
Documentation system: CPN and Meditech
Scheduling requirements: 4 weekend shifts/month
Floating policy: can float to m/b or outside department to task
Patient Experience requirements: Remain above 75%
Hospital Specifics-
Certifications: RN, ACLS, BLS, NRP. Fetal monitoring and AWHONN

Must have: Drive to provide highest quality of care to our laboring patients. Ability to support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities specific to patient preference.

Procedures performed on unit: circulating in OR, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4, pp hemorrhage- JADA system, nitrous oxide
