Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology role in Meridian, Idaho. The ideal candidate has neuro and nurse sedation experience and holds an active RN license with ID or Compact, plus BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

The position involves 4x10-hour day shifts with potential weekend coverage, unit with 2 IR suites, and responsibilities across preop, intraop, and postop care using Epic EMR. Travel experience encouraged.

Qualifications

Active RN license (ID or Compact) required.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
Minimum 2 years of IR experience required.
Neuro experience including strokes and carotid procedures required.
Nurse sedation experience required.
IV insertion experience required.
Valid driver's license required for consideration.
Two professional references required: one supervisor reference from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor reference from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility.

Responsibilities

Acute care hospital setting in the Interventional Radiology unit.
Unit features 2 IR suites, including a hybrid room shared with the cath lab for neuro cases.
Average of 8 cases per day across body, PA, and neuro procedures.
Patient population is 18+ with rare pediatric cases 12-17.
Common procedures include embolization, Y90, neuro and carotid stent placement, stroke intervention, epistaxis management, nephrostomy and port placement.
RN provides care through preop, intraop, and postop phases of IR procedures.
Responsibilities include IV starts and nurse sedation.
Uses Epic EMR and Phillips equipment.
Schedule consists of 4x10-hour day shifts; weekend shifts possible.
