American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Interventional Radiology RN in Missouri with an active MO license and BLS/ACLS. The role emphasizes IV starts, port access, and EPIC charting within a Magnet-designated teaching hospital.

Expect 1:1 patient care on a day shift (Mon-Fri, 0600-1430) with no weekends or on-call. Travel-friendly policy, navy scrubs, and reimbursement programs are available.

Formación

• Active Missouri or compact RN license required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS required by compliance deadline.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience preferred, with strong emphasis on proficiency starting IVs.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred; teaching hospital experience preferred.
• Strong IV therapy, port care and maintenance, IV infusion pumps, PICC line care and maintenance, and starting/maintaining IVs.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care within the Interventional Radiology department, including IV and port access procedures.
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios on a day shift (Mon-Fri, 0600-1430).
• Use EPIC charting system for documentation.
• Start peripheral IVs and port access; no sedation experience needed.
• Ensure navy-colored scrubs and adherence to unit standards.
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Pending license accepted at time of submission.
• Up to 2 RTO requests allowed (not exceeding 40 hours) during the contract; no time off in first week.
• Travelers may work up to 18 months at BJC facilities with a 3-month break after.

Requirements

• Preferred experience with EPIC charting system
• Preferred teaching hospital experience
• Skills in IV therapy, implanted port care and maintenance, IV infusion pumps, PICC line care and maintenance, and starting/maintaining IVs
• Emergency medication administration skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology unit within a Short Term Acute Care, Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma teaching hospital
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 0600-1430
• No weekends, no holidays, and no on-call requirements
• No floating required outside of scope
• Uses EPIC charting system
• Involves starting peripheral IVs and accessing ports; no sedation experience needed
• Responsible for providing nursing care within the Interventional Radiology department, including IV and port access procedures
• Facility requires navy-colored scrubs
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local candidates accepted
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Pending license accepted at time of submission
• Up to 2 RTO requests allowed, not exceeding 40 hours (5 days) total during the contract, with no time off permitted during the first week of assignment
• Standard travelers may work up to 18 months at BJC facilities, followed by a required 3-month break in service
• Former permanent employees of BJC or Saint Luke's must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Facial hair must allow for proper respirator fit testing or must be shaved, with no exceptions
• Candidates will be interviewed before an offer is extended
