Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an RN for Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology requiring recent specialty experience and ICU, ER, or PACU background. The role is based in a hospital setting in Georgia with a weekday schedule and 10-hour shifts.

The ideal candidate has a GA or Compact RN license, BLS and ACLS, and at least two years in special radiology procedures, with preference for Radiology RN experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license GA or Compact.
• Current BLS and ACLS (AHA).
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology.
• ICU, ER, or PACU training required.
• Radiology RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Radiology Special Procedures unit of a hospital setting.
• Provide IV sedation to patients undergoing radiology procedures.
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts per week.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing special radiology procedures, primarily administering IV sedation.
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered.
• Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler.
• RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made.
