Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Connecticut. The role requires a CT or compact RN license and Epic proficiency, along with prior travel nursing experience.

Shifts are 12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, totaling 36 hours per week; every third weekend and two major holidays are required. Local candidates within 75 miles are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (CT or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and telemetry certification
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• COVID vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required

Responsibilities

• ICU unit at a hospital setting
• 12-hour day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 36 hours per week
• Every third weekend required (Saturday/Sunday)
• Uses Epic EMR system
• May be floated within 30 miles of the assigned facility within clinical competence
• Included in unit rotation pool for mandatory additional coverage as needed
• Provide direct patient care within the ICU setting
• Required to work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius
