Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota. The unit features Level 3 NICU capabilities and obstetric care for high-risk pregnancies.

The assignment runs 15 weeks at 48 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts, rotating to nights as needed. Start date 09/28/2026. Requires 2 years L&D experience (Level 3+ NICU preferred) and BLS/NRP; ACLS preferred. Precepts students and collaborates with OB physicians.

Qualifications

• 2 years L&D experience, level 3+ NICU preferred
• BLS and NRP required
• ACLS and inpatient obstetrics certs preferred

Responsibilities

• Care for laboring patients including high-acuity cases
• Perform IV starts, cervical checks, and med administration
• Coordinate with OB physicians and unit staff
• Care for newborns and couplets in Level II/III settings
