Staffmax Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Start Date: 10/12/2026. Duration: 14 weeks. 48 hours per week on 12-hour rotating shifts. Requires SD or compact RN license and 2 years L&D experience with BLS; NRP; ACLS preferred. Epic charting experience and ability to care for couplets are essential; Level 2 nursery experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• SD or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years L&D experience.
• BLS, NRP; ACLS preferred.
• Certification in inpatient obstetrics or electronic fetal monitoring preferred.
• Must care for couplets; Level 2 nursery experience a plus.
• Start date 10/12/2026; 14-week contract; 48 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery nursing care to patients.
• Perform IV starts, cervical checks, phlebotomy, magnesium sulfate, blood administration, insulin.
• Circulate C-sections and C-section recovery care; Epic charting.
