Fidelity On Call seeks a Travel RN for the Clinical Resource Unit, offering 12-hour night shifts in Normal, IL. The nurse will float to multiple inpatient units, delivering skilled care across Medical-Oncology, Surgical-Ortho, Cardiovascular, and other units while collaborating with physicians and care teams.

Active RN license, BLS, and ability to float are required. Full-time hours, competitive pay up to $75/hr, and day-one benefits including health insurance and a 401(k) await the successful

Qualifications

• RN license in state of assignment.
• BLS required.
• Ability to float to multiple units.
• Ability to manage care for acute and chronically ill cardiac and pulmonary patients.
• Strong clinical, assessment, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Acts as a resource to staff from various units.
• Floats to various inpatient units including Medical-Oncology, Surgical-Ortho, Cardiovascular Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit, Mental Health Unit and Acute Rehab.
• Administer medications and treatments, observing for reactions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in life-saving procedures as needed.
