Job summary

Trinity Health’s FirstChoice RN program seeks experienced Registered Nurses for part-time night shifts at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center, IA. RNs float across units and locations, delivering patient-centered care with premium compensation and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in applicable state(s).
• Minimum 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Credentials required per specialty area (e.g., ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions.
• Apply professional nursing process: Assess, Outcomes Identification / Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Act independently within license, scope of knowledge & experience.
• Maintain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders & contribute to quality & improvement practices & outcomes.
• Exhibit agility & willingness to take on new & additional responsibilities.
