Job summary
Trinity Health Livonia is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for FirstChoice mobile staffing, offering premium pay and flexible scheduling. RNs float across units and locations, with opportunities to travel regionally or nationally within the health system.
The program requires RN licensure, nursing degree, and varying levels of clinical experience by specialty; credentials like ACLS/BLS/PALS are required. Positions include night shifts with immediate start.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- RN licensure valid in applicable state(s).
- Minimum 18 months clinical experience for Med Surg/Tele/PCU.
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience for all other specialties.
- Credentials per specialty area (ACLS, TNCC, etc); BLS/ACLS/PALS via AHA.
Responsibilities
- Float throughout hospital and/or multiple locations/regions as needed.
- Apply standard nursing process: Assess, plan, implement, evaluate.
- Act independently within license and scope of practice.
- Maintain accountability for decisions and outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
- Adapt to new responsibilities and diverse settings.
- Embrace new ideas and manage competing priorities.
