Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel Endoscopy RN for a 13-week assignment in Torrington, CT. This role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and certification in ACLS and BLS.

The nurse will support physicians and care teams before, during, and after procedures in a fast-paced Endoscopy unit. Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, maintaining equipment and records, and ensuring a safe patient environment.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1-2 years recent acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standard of nursing care in Endoscopy Unit.
• Provide technical assistance during Endoscopic procedures.
• Maintain endoscopes and equipment with proper decontamination records.
• Keep clinical area safe, clean and compliant with standards.
• Assist in patient positioning, mobilization and safety during procedures.
• Follow policies and protect staff from hazards and exposure.
