Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department travel assignment, requiring critical care background and the ability to float between ICU and Telemetry. This 13-week assignment features day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, with 3x12-hour days and travel-related stipends for eligible candidates.

Active IL RN license, BLS and ACLS are required, with CCRN preferred. The posting notes 4 openings with a competitive weekly pay range up to $2,586, plus lodging and meals stipends

Qualifications

• Active, valid IL RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of one year experience as staff RN in acute/critical care.
• CCRN preferred.
• PALS and NIHSS certifications may be required.
• DCI/BVP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and supervise other staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition and diagnostic results with physicians.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition or treatment response.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
