American Traveler is seeking a Travel Nurse RN in Telemetry Med Surg for a 13-week contract in Rockford, Illinois. Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license currently in hand.

• ICU experience is required.
• Extensive cardiac experience is required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; education verification will be conducted.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.

Responsabilités

• Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
• Administers medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and state practice standards.
• Develops and executes individualized patient plans of care, including patient and family education.
• Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities.
• Applies clinical expertise to support patients' longitudinal plans of care.
• Utilizes critical thinking to promote patient safety and escalates concerns through the appropriate chain of command.
• Candidates must be willing to float down to Med-Surg as needed.
