Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Night Shift RN for an Emergency Department travel assignment in South Carolina. Requires SC license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, and ER experience.

The role includes 3x12-hour nights (19:00–07:00), 1:4 patient ratio, and meaningful on-call duties. Housing and travel reimbursements are offered; first-time travelers may be considered.

Qualifications

• Active SC or compact RN license required, with license transferable or pending prior start.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications are required.
• Minimum 1 year ER experience; 2 years preferred.
• Ability to pass Cardiac Dysrhythmia test on first orientation day.
• EPIC experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting.
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.
• Maintain patient ratio around 1:4 with on-call requirements.
• 75+ mile residency from facility; local candidates not accepted.
• Adhere to attendance policy and first-time traveler eligibility.

Job description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Emergency Department position requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH certifications along with 1+ years of ER experience.

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required, pending license accepted if obtained prior to start
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience required, 2 years preferred
• Must pass Cardiac Dysrhythmia test on first day of orientation
• Recent EPIC experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:00
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• On-call requirements apply, with options for 1 holiday with 2 on-call/additional shifts per 6 weeks, or 2 holidays with no on-call
• Not open to block scheduling
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility, no local candidates accepted
• All RTO must be submitted with initial application; requests made afterward will not be considered
• Attendance policy in place, missing more than two shifts in a 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review for cancellation
• Previous permanent staff at this health system are not eligible to return as travelers
• First-time travelers may be considered
