Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing school required; BSN or MSN preferred
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• CPI-B certification required

Aufgaben

• Work in a 52-bed ED plus 4-bed Behavioral Health Unit providing 24/7 all-ages emergency care
• Patient ratio of 5:2 with approximately 196 admissions per day
• Night shift schedule from 7:00pm to 7:00am, three 12-hour shifts per week
• May be placed on standby per pay period if census drops
• Required to work 4 weekend shifts
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Epic EMR experience required
• Deliver competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional nursing standards in a fast-paced ED setting
• Coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process, reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director
• Perform patient assessments, develop and update care plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Conduct bedside point-of-care testing as part of patient care plans
• Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education
• Promote a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment
