Job summary

UCHealth’s Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department at Level I trauma designation. This full-time role offers 72 hours per pay period, day shifts, and a $50.00 per hour base pay plus a travel package/stipend.

A 13-week assignment option is available to start, with opportunities to precept and mentor others. The ideal candidate holds CO RN license or eNLC privileges, 1 year of experience, and current ACLS/NIHSS/PALS/ENPC/TNCC/ATCN and BLS

Qualifications

• Current CO RN license or eNLC privileges required.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in emergency/acute care.
• ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC or ATCN certifications required.
• BLS certification required with card in-hand before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-of-scope direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes.
• Precept staff and/or new graduates in a fast-paced setting.
• Maintain patient safety and apply evidence-based practices.
