Job summary

UCHealth's Freestanding Emergency Department in Arvada is seeking an experienced RN for a full-time Day shift. The role includes direct patient care using the nursing process, with a 72-hour biweekly schedule and a pay rate of $50 per hour plus a travel package.

Minimum requirements include a Colorado RN license or eNLC, 1 year of experience, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC or ATCN, and BLS through AHA or Red Cross with card in-hand before the start date.

Qualifications

• Colorado RN license or eNLC required.
• 1 year of nursing experience required.
• ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC or ATCN certifications required.
• BLS certification via AHA or Red Cross with card in-hand before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care at ED level under nursing process.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Model safety, quality, and evidence-based practice at the point of care.
• Precept new staff and learners in a fast-paced clinical environment.
