ARMStaffing is seeking a travel RN to join the Direct Observation Unit (DOU) in Atlanta, GA for a 13-week rotation on nights. The unit handles a range of acuity from medical beds to trauma overflow, with a 28-bed capacity.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and current Georgia RN licensure; TNCC preferred. Expect 12-hour shifts, 36 hours weekly, and potential floats to other areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years RN experience in an acute care setting.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required.
• TNCC certification preferred.
• Current Georgia RN license to practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the observation unit.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changing patient acuity.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and interventions appropriately.
• Assist with patient education and support for recovery.
