Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced RN CVOR Surgical Technologist to join our cardiovascular surgical services team. The role supports cardiovascular surgeons and the operating room team during complex cardiac and vascular procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and surgical excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Current CST certification preferred or required by state regulations.
• Minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular instrumentation and procedures.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Ensure all instruments, supplies, implants, and equipment are available and functioning properly.
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons during cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention protocols.
• Assist with CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, vascular surgeries and other CV interventions.
• Handle, prepare, and manage surgical instruments, grafts, and cardiovascular equipment.
• Participate in surgical counts and documentation per hospital policy.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, perfusionists, nurses, and staff.
• Respond to emergencies in a fast-paced environment.

As a CVOR Tech, you will play a critical role in supporting cardiovascular surgeons and the operating room team during complex cardiac and vascular procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and surgical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Ensure all instruments, supplies, implants, and equipment are available and functioning properly.

• Assist with procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, vascular surgeries, and other cardiovascular interventions.

• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, perfusionists, nurses, and support staff.
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations and maintain a calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Required

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification (CST) preferred or required per state regulations.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent CVOR experience.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical instrumentation and procedures.
• Current BLS certification.

Preferred

• Two or more years of dedicated CVOR experience.
• Experience with open-heart procedures.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular implants, grafts, and advanced surgical technologies.
• Eligible candidates will receive a $10,000 Completion Bonus paid according to hospital policy upon successful completion of the agreed employment commitment period and performance requirements.
