Job summary
FullShift Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse to deliver direct patient care in rural Critical Access Hospitals. You will assess and treat patients, collaborate with interprofessional teams, and ensure safety and quality care while traveling to diverse communities.
The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and 1 year of acute care experience, with rural healthcare experience a plus. This contract position offers housing support, travel reimbursement, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in the applicable state.
- BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in acute care; ruralHealthcare experience is a plus.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care per clinical protocols.
- Assess patients and implement evidence-based nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments with accuracy.
- Monitor vitals and adjust care plans as needed.
- Educate patients and families on disease management and prevention.
