Sweetwater Care in Montana is seeking a Travel Nurse to join our team at Critical Access Hospitals, delivering essential bedside care in rural communities.

As a Travel Nurse, you will work under contract, provide direct patient care, and collaborate with local teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. This role offers competitive compensation and housing/travel stipends where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in the applicable state.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year nursing experience in acute care; rural experience is a plus.
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work on contract basis.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care per protocols and standards.
  • Assess conditions and implement rural-specific nursing interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and coordinate care.
  • Administer medications safely and monitor responses.
  • Monitor vitals and adjust care plans to optimize outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on disease management.
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards of practice.
  • Assess patients' conditions and implement evidence-based nursing interventions tailored to the rural healthcare landscape.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans and coordinate patient care activities.
  • Administer medications and treatments with precision and efficiency, ensuring patient safety and therapeutic effectiveness.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and responses to treatment, adapting care plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease management strategies, preventive healthcare measures, and community resources.
