Job summary

FullShift Staffing seeks a Travel Nurse for Rural Critical Access Hospitals to deliver direct patient care across diverse settings. You will assess patients, administer treatments, and collaborate on care plans tailored to rural health needs.

The role requires active RN licensure, BLS and preferred ACLS/PALS, with at least 1 year in acute care and a willingness to travel on contract assignments. Housing support and travel reimbursement are offered.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the applicable state.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in acute care.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to travel and work on a contract basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per clinical protocols and standards.
• Assess conditions and implement evidence-based nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan care.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively.
• Monitor vital signs and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and resources.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
