Hilton Head Medical Center, part of Novant Health, seeks a skilled Progressive Care Unit RN for a temporary, full-time night assignment in Hilton Head, SC. The role runs 13–26 weeks with premium pay and a three 12-hour night schedule (7 p.m.–7 a.m.).

The position is primarily based at Hilton Head Medical Center, with potential weekend coverage based on unit needs and holidays during the contract period.

Formación

• Active South Carolina RN license.
• 2+ years Med/Surg RN experience.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS are required.
• TNCC preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care for Progressive Care Unit patients during 13–26 week assignments.
• Assess patient conditions and prioritize needs on night shifts.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team for urgent, emergent care.
• Maintain safety and compassionate patient-centered care during assignment.
• Support Hilton Head Progressive Care Unit staffing as needed.

Additional scheduling expectations

Contract & Scheduling Details: Assignments range from 13–26 weeks. Nurses may be required to work every other weekend based on unit needs and are expected to work 50% of holidays occurring during their contract period.

What You'll Do

• Step into critical moments, using your Progressive Care Unit nursing experience to assess patients, prioritize needs and deliver timely care.
• Recognize changes in patient conditions and respond with the clinical judgment and confidence that come from working in Progressive Care Unit care.
• Use your clinical expertise to partner with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate treatment and support patients through urgent and emergent situations.
• Bring consistency and adaptability to your assignment, supporting our Hilton Head Progressive Care Unit departments.
• Be a steady presence for patients and families, delivering safe, compassionate care when they need it most.

What We're Looking For

• Required

  • Current unrestricted RN license in the State of South Carolina
  • 2+ years recent Med/Surg RN Experience
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS required

• Preferred

  • TNCC preferred

• Additional

  • Specialty certification and/or participation in professional nursing organizations encouraged
