Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position in Texas with prior travel experience and Epic proficiency. The role requires an active TX or Compact license, BLS/ACLS, and at least 2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience.

Travel nursing background is essential for this assignment. The position includes day shifts (4x10) from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call and holiday coverage. EP Lab support and arrhythmia management are part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

Active RN license TX or Compact required.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience.
Prior travel nursing experience required.
Epic EMR experience required.
Proficiency in cardiac cath lab procedures and related monitoring.

Responsibilities

Work in the Cath Lab unit of a hospital setting.
Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab work settings.
Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
On-call, weekend, and holiday coverage required.
Perform circulating duties and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures.
Administer and monitor procedural medications.
Support EP procedures such as AICD insertion/programming and pacemaker insertion.
