Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN with recent acute care experience and a TX or compact RN license to join our assignment team in Texas. You will work in the cath lab or EP lab as needed, performing angioplasty-related therapies, with four 10-hour shifts per week and cath lab call required.

Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility. Requirements include active TX or compact RN license, NLN-accredited RN program, BSN desired, and current

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required, no pending licenses accepted.
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required.
• BSN highly desired.
• Current certifications NIHSS, BLS, ACLS (AHA only).
• Recent acute care experience required.
• Minimum two years in a US hospital cath lab.

Responsibilities

• Work in the cath lab or EP lab depending on department needs.
• Perform emergency and elective angioplasty and therapies such as drug-eluting stents, electrophysiology, and pacemaker implantation.
• Four 10-hour shifts per week; cath lab call required.
• Perform a variety of patient care functions per licensure and regulations.
• Meet patient, family, and community needs.
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted.
