Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab/EP RN for a day shift assignment in California. Requires a CA RN license, 5 years of nursing experience, and active ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications.

Candidates must have travel experience and be prepared for local or travel rate assignments. Responsibilities include scrubbing in for interventional and diagnostic cases, monitoring during procedural sedation, and direct patient care in Cath Lab and EP procedures.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• CCI RCES certification required; RCIS preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant nursing experience required
• Community hospital and LTAC experience preferred
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab setting
• Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and EP procedures
• 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM day shift (8 hours)
• Weekend coverage as needed; on-call required
• Scrub in for interventional and diagnostic cases
• Provide direct patient care and monitor during sedation
• Manage arrhythmias and post-procedure monitoring
• Maintain infection control and radiation safety practices
• Holiday coverage for one designated holiday per contract
• Local candidates accepted at local rate; travel rate for out-of-area candidates
