Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP assignment in California. The role requires a CA RN license, BSN, and prior Cath Lab or IR experience at a teaching hospital.

The position involves a Cath Lab unit setting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, day shifts (4x10s), and potential float to UCSF facilities within a 75+ mile radius. Travel nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

CA RN license required at time of submission.
BSN required.
AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab or IR experience required.
Minimum 3-5 years of combined experience in PACU, ICU, CCU, and/or Cath Lab required.
Minimum 5 years of clinic nursing experience required.
Knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization and EP procedures, equipment, and sterile technique required.
Teaching hospital experience required and must be noted in employment history.
Prior travel nursing experience within the last 12 months required.

Responsibilities

Cath Lab unit setting performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts and variable start times.
Performs diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, left and right heart catheterizations, and pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring.
Administers and monitors procedural sedation and manages dysrhythmias.
Epic EMR experience required.
Float requirement to other UCSF facilities within a 75+ mile radius when qualified.
