Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN with 4+ years of Cath/EP Lab experience for a 40-hour day position in Salem, MA. Massachusetts RN license is required, with AHA BLS/ACLS certifications preferred by the facility (Salem accepts AHA only).

The role involves performing PCI, Impella, balloon pump, device implants, and ablations in a 400+ bed hospital. Expect 4x10 day shifts, 7:00am-5:30pm, and on-call 7 nights per month (including one weekend) with local mileage

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license (no conditional licenses)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (Salem accepts AHA only)
• 4+ years of Cath/EP Lab experience required
• Interventional Cardiac experience and scrub experience required
• Epic/Cupid charting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs PCI, Impella, balloon pump, device implants, and ablations in the Cath/EP Lab
• Treats adult patient population in a 400+ bed hospital facility
• Works 4x10 day shift, 7:00am-5:30pm
• On-call duty 7 nights per month, including one weekend and 4 additional nights
• Uses Epic Cupid module for charting
• Provides direct patient care in cardiac cath and electrophysiology procedures
• No floating required
• Free on-site parking and brand new on-site call room are provided
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions allowed
• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility for local rate

• Epic/Cupid charting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Works in a 2-room Cardiac Catheterization and EP Lab performing PCI, Impella, balloon pump, device implants, ablations and related procedures
• Adult patient population
• 400+ bed hospital facility with Med Surg, ICU, and Maternity units
• 4x10 Day shift schedule, 7:00am-5:30pm
• On-call required 7 nights per month, including one weekend (Fri, Sat & Sun) and 4 additional nights
• Uses Epic (Cupid module) for charting
• No floating required
• Provide direct patient care in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Free on-site parking available
• Brand new on-site call room provided
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates accepted, but must reside within 60 miles of the facility for the local (reduced) rate
