Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Catheterization Lab role in New Mexico. Active NM or compact RN license and prior cath lab experience are required. This is a 13-week travel assignment with an evening shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM) in a full-time schedule.

Required BLS/ACLS and CPI certifications; 1 year cath lab nursing experience preferred, BSN preferred. Residents within 50 miles of the facility are prioritized. CHRISTUS Health policy applies for former employees.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Mexico or compact license.
• BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only).
• CPI certification required.
• 1 year of cardiac cath lab nursing experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab department of a hospital setting.
• 13-week assignment with evening shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
• Full time schedule.
• Provide direct patient care applying the full nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure patient needs are met.
• Act as patient advocate while respecting cultural and religious beliefs.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• Previous CHRISTUS Health employees must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a travel assignment at any CHRISTUS facility.
