Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for a Case Management/Utilization Review role in California. An active CA RN license and at least 2 years of relevant experience are required.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care within an integrated delivery system, promoting collaboration among care teams, and ensuring high-quality patient experiences. Local rate considerations apply; travel requirements possible.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license is required.
• BSN preferred; graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 2 years of recent case management experience.
• Broad knowledge of healthcare delivery in managed care.
• Knowledge of Utilization Review, levels of care, and observation status.
• Familiarity with reimbursement systems (HMO, PPO, PPS, CMS).
• Understanding of CMS Title 22, CHA, CDPH, and TJC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care within an integrated delivery system.
• Day shift: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, five days a week, no weekends.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, patients, families, and ancillary partners.
