Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring 2+ years of CVICU experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Works in the Intensive Care Coronary/CVICU unit of a hospital
• Night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts, 1900-0730
• 36 hours per week
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active RN license, Single State or CO Compact
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required, all AHA certifications must not expire prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for CVICU patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and delivers therapeutic and restorative treatment
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Reviews and monitors ongoing therapy and treatment plans
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift based on business need
• Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before becoming eligible for a travel assignment
