Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CVICU RN for a night shift assignment in Ohio. An active Ohio or compact RN license is required, along with ICU experience and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

The role involves working in a CVICU unit on a night schedule (3x12, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM), with every-other-holiday responsibilities. Travelers may extend for up to 18 months with a 6-month break after.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand.
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in CVICU specialty.
• ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with passing scores required.
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing to cardiovascular ICU patients.
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM).
• Required to work every other holiday.
• Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) hospital unit responsibilities.
• Travelers may extend with the facility for up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required.

• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical/religious exemptions only
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Travelers may extend with the facility for up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required
