Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced travel nurse for an intensive medical-surgical/telemetry unit assignment in Indiana. The role requires 12 months of recent experience, including 3 months in the last year, plus 2 years in medical-surgical/telemetry and 3 months of travel experience.

Epic skills and a Trauma Level 2 background are required. An ADN is required and Indiana or compact licensure is mandatory for submission.

Qualifications

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
• 3 months of travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.
• ADN completion required.
• Indiana license or compact license (required for submission).
• Floating to additional units and locations may be required.
• Travel only; local not allowed; must live >40 miles from facility.
• Flu vaccination required after submission; declinations not accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.
• Pre-employment modules may be required.

Responsibilities

• High acuity medical-surgical/telemetry and cardiac-heavy cases.
• Telemetry and 12-lead EKG interpretation; manage drips as needed.
• May float to Deaconess Newburgh (IN) or Deaconess Henderson (KY).
• Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4–5 days and 1:5–7 nights.
• Three weekends out of six-week schedule and every other holiday.
