Cross Country Nurses is seeking a Travel RN in Intermediate Care for an assignment in St. Louis, Missouri. The role focuses on cardiac stepdown care with night shifts on a 12-hour schedule.

This travel position requires an active MO license and professional certifications. The incumbent will provide direct patient care, collaborate with the health care team, and support post-operative cardiac patients including CABG/Valve recovery.

Qualifications

• Current RN license eligible for Missouri licensure or licensed in Missouri.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association.
• At least 1 year of experience in Cardiac Stepdown or similar inpatient setting.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality; advocate for patients.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care.
• Operate within the scope of practice and hospital standards.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and families.
