Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a Saint Louis, Missouri assignment. The position is a 26-week travel role starting 10/12/2026, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour night shifts.

Required are an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, and BLS certification, plus 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience. This travel opportunity includes comprehensive benefits and a support team.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and signs/symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes; uses nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data; documents nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes.
• Documents the plan of care with diagnoses, outcomes, and interventions.
• Initiates and evaluates patient and/or family education.
• Revises and documents the plan of care according to evaluation and changes in medical plan.
